Position Overview 

 

We are looking for a Temporary Lot Attendant to join our team at Calgary BMW. The successful candidate is someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to our growing team.

  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Responsible for inventory maintenance and management. This includes audits and quality checks of the inventory, reporting lot damage or malfunctioning vehicles immediately, checking vehicles arriving for damaged or missing parts, installing stock number stickers, pricing signs and body panel etching.
  • Responsible for parking lot organization including realigning the vehicle displays and ensuring customer parking is available.
  • Transporting vehicles to and from the compound, dealer trades, third party sublet locations, body shop and auction.
  • Responsible for the showroom and demo vehicle organization, including displaying the correct vehicles while ensuring they are clean and fueled.
  • Verifying current day and next day deliveries, determining vehicle location and ensuring vehicle is brought to the appropriate location.
  • Ensuring walkways and entrances are free of debris, ice and snow at all times and proper signage is current and in good repair
  • Interacting with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.
  • Other responsibilities are required by your supervisors.

 

Qualifications Required 

 

  • Requires a valid Alberta driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Ability to carefully and safely drive both a standard and automatic vehicle.
  • Organizational skills and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Must be dependable, punctual and have a “can do” attitude with a focus on customer service.
  • You have a growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills.
